Do you compound fortified antibiotic ophthalmic solutions?
Yes. We prepare fortified ophthalmic antibiotic solutions including Cefazolin 50mg/mL, Tobramycin 9.1–15mg/mL, Vancomycin 10–50mg/mL, and Amikacin 50mg/mL. These concentrations exceed what is commercially available and are used in the management of severe bacterial keratitis and post-surgical infections. All preparations are per prescriber direction for individually identified patients.
Do you prepare antifungal ophthalmic preparations including injectable formulations?
Yes. We prepare Amphotericin B Solution 0.05–0.15%, Caspofungin Solution 5mg/mL, and Voriconazole Solution 1% for topical ophthalmic use, as well as Voriconazole Ophthalmic Injection 50mcg/0.1mL in a 0.3mL syringe for intrastromal injection. Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.02% and PHMB 0.02% are also available for Acanthamoeba and other protozoal indications.
Do you prepare Autologous Blood Serum drops?
Yes. Autologous Blood Serum Solution is prepared at concentrations from 20–100% depending on prescriber direction. Volume is customized to the individual patient. These preparations are used for chronic dry eye and post-surgical ocular surface healing. Can you prepare Atropine ophthalmic solutions for pediatric use?
Yes. We prepare Atropine Solution at concentrations from 0.01% to 0.1% in 5mL and 10mL volumes for pediatric amblyopia management and cycloplegic refraction. All preparations are per prescriber direction for individually identified patients.
Do you prepare preservative-free ophthalmic steroid formulations?
Yes. We prepare Dexamethasone Preservative Free Solution 0.01% and Methylprednisolone Preservative Free Solution 1%, both in 10mL volumes. These are used when patients require steroid therapy but cannot tolerate the preservatives in commercial ophthalmic steroid preparations.
